Geeta Kapoor, born on July 5, 1973, in Mumbai, hails from a Punjabi family. She began her career in the entertainment industry at the young age of 17, assisting renowned choreographer Farah Khan. She went on to work as an assistant choreographer on several films alongside Farah Khan before making her debut as a choreographer with the 1997 film "Dil To Pagal Hai". Since then, she has worked on notable films like "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai", "Mohabbatein", and "Nayak".
Geeta Kapoor made her television debut as a judge on "Dance India Dance Season 1" and has since appeared on various dance reality shows.
