After that, in 1945, Lata Ji came to Mumbai with her brother-in-law and she studied classical singing from Ustad Amanat Ali Khan and in 1946 she sang the song 'Paa Laangu Kar Jori' in the Hindi film 'Aapki Seva Mein'.
