Nusrat Bharucha is a Bollywood actress and today is her birthday. Nusrat is among the actresses who have found the place she is today after a big struggle. Nusrat Bharucha was born on May 17, 1985 in Mumbai. Her father is a businessman. She started her career on the small screen. In fact, she was first seen in Zee TV's serial 'Kitty Party'. The show came out in 2002 and featured actress Poonam Dhillon in the lead role. Nusrat Bharucha quit after working on the show for a year. She then turned to films and after a long struggle Nusrat Bharucha got an offer for the film in 2006. The film was 'Jai Santoshi Maa'.

She started her film career with this film. Nusrat's debut film did not do well at the box office and flopped. She was then seen in the 2009 film 'Kal Kaun Dekha Hai' but the film also proved to be a bad flop. Nusrat continued to move forward even after the films flopped and then the 2011 film 'Pyaar Ka Panchnama'. It was not a big hit but the duo of Kartik Aaryan and Nusrat Bharucha was loved by the audience in the film. Since this film, Nusrat Bharucha has made the film 'Pyaar Ka Panchnama 2' in 2015. The film proved to be a super hit.

Then in 2018, Nusrat Bharucha's 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety'. The film broke all records and became a film that grossed over Rs 100 crore this year. The film starred Nusrat along with actors like Kartik Aaryan and Sunny Singh in the lead roles. Apart from that Nusrat was also seen in the film 'Dream Girl' along with Ayushmann Khurrana. She is now busy shooting for her new films.
