Today is Rajkumar Hirani's birthday. Rajkummar is counted among the Bollywood directors whose every film made has been a blockbuster. Every film made by Rajkummar created new records. Rajkumar Hirani's father was from Sindh (now Pakistan), who ran a typing school. He came to India after partition, but Rajkumar Hirani thought of doing something big by not following his father's plan.

He was inclined towards theatre and joined the Film and Television Institute, Pune. He wanted to be a hero but his mind changed while studying and he changed course to direction. In 1993, he moved towards films. He worked for ads and worked for promos of '1942 A Love Story' in 1994, and 'Kareeb' in 1998. He then edited for 'Mission Kashmir' in 2000 and 'Tere Liye' in 2001, although his real journey began in 2003. Let me tell you that his directorial debut 'Munnabhai MBBS' came out and the Sanjay Dutt-Arshad Warsi starrer made a new mark of success.

Rajkumar Hirani's film won several awards. About three years later, in 2006, Rajkumar Hirani brought the next part of 'Munna Bhai MBBS' with 'Laga Raho Munnabhai' and it was also a super hit. He then produced the film '3 Idiots' in 2009 and is considered to be one of the most brilliant films in Hindi cinema. The film was followed by the film 'PK' in 2014. The film set new records in terms of revenue. The film was much appreciated. He has also brought Sanjay Dutt biopic Sanju which has been bang on. Rajkumar Hirani has won 11 Filmfare Awards. Wishing him a happy birthday on our behalf today.
