Hardik Pandya is the current topic to talk about in regard of Indian Cricket. It may be surprising for many of us that the year is going so fabulous for him from the beginning treating him the golden era of his lifetime. He has made his debut playing for the nation in Adelaide on 26 January 2016 playing the first ever T20 international. Later 16th October he has made his ODI debut and now he has been selected in the squad for the first two test matches to be played against the visiting team England at our home grounds.

The player doesn't possess so much of cricket experience but then as well receiving so much of chances or opportunities is not so easy to digest for the folks around. He has played just 16 First Class matches, scored 727 runs and taken 22 wickets at 33.72.

But the selection committee is sure enough on him to put in the squad leaving all time favourite Yuvraj Singh out of the game despite having a good form in the last Ranji tournament. It is to be noted that the skipper Virat Kohli and coach Anil Kumble were equally in the oppose of his selection.

“I do agree that he has not played much of First Class cricket, but going by his form and at some point in time all of us have to agree that we need to identify the right allrounders. And he is the top-most all-rounder we have now. We have been looking for a good all-rounder after Kapil Dev,” said Dhamika Prasad.
