The West Indies had a target of 352 runs to reach in order to win the game and the series, but they were completely unable to contend with the Indian bowlers. In fact, India continues to hold the record for winning the most consecutive bilateral ODI series against any one team in international cricket. He has defeated the West Indies in 13 straight ODI series, which is the most. This is India's thirteenth series victory. Pakistan, which has won 11 straight ODI series against Zimbabwe, is ranked second.

India will also play a five-match T20I series from August 3 to August 13. Guyana National Stadium and Brian Lara Cricket Academy are the venues for the five-match T20I series.
