Ahmedabad: Ahead of the Gujarat assembly elections, Hardik Patel has raised the concerns of Congress. He has now given an ultimatum to the Congress high command saying that he is in the party right now, but the high command will have to do something to ensure that things do not get spoiled. "There are some leaders who want Hardik Patel to leave the Congress. Such people are trying to demoralize me.''

I am in Congress currently. I hope the central leaders find a way so that I continue to remain in the Congress. There are others who want Hardik to leave the Congress. They want to break my morale. @NewIndianXpress pic.twitter.com/zW1oHf5m52

However, Hardik Patel did not name any leader. Hardik Patel has said this in a tweet and has also posted a screenshot of the interview given to a newspaper. Hardik Patel tweeted, "I am in the Congress right now. I hope the central leaders will find some way out so that I remain in Congress. There are some people here who want Hardik Patel to leave the Congress. These people are trying to demoralize me.''
Hardik Patel's statement came after his clarification on Monday denied reports that he had left the Congress. Gujarat Assembly elections are due by December this year and Hardik Patel's stand before that has raised the concerns of the Congress camp. Hardik Patel had praised the BJP in the past for the construction of the Ram temple. Apart from this, he had termed the BJP as stronger than the Congress in Gujarat. Â
