Patna: Those who understand the politics of Bihar can never forget the duo of CM Nitish Kumar and Sushil Modi. In the NDA government in Bihar, Sushil Modi always gave political backup to Nitish Kumar. Even after becoming a Rajya Sabha MP, Sushil Modi has not stopped supporting Nitish. After becoming a Rajya Sabha MP, Sushil Modi was mostly silent on political issues in Bihar. But after the party's intransigence in the Bochahan by-election, he has become vocal and is taking a dig at the BJP's outspoken leaders on social media.

Sushil Modi tweeted in favour of Nitish Kumar and advised the leaders who are bent on retiring Nitish Kumar from Bihar without any reason. Attacking those who have made statements against Nitish Kumar, Sushil Modi tweeted that when state BJP president Sanjay Jaiswal has made it clear many times that the NDA government in Bihar will complete its term under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, he had to keep spreading this lie that the BJP wants to make its CM in the middle.

Sushil Modi further said that it is unfortunate to continue the baseless speculation about the CM. This mischief must have had some impact on the Bochhan by-election of the Assembly as well. Sushil Modi clearly blamed the NDA's Bochhan bypoll defeat on leaders who made comments against Nitish. He further said that the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections were fought by the NDA seeking votes on the faces of PM Narendra Modi and CM Nitish Kumar. People believed in it. When the MANDATE of the NDA to work under the leadership of Nitish Kumar is till 2025, there is no question of a change in the middle with a but-but-but. Sushil Modi is unhappy with the speculation that has started in Bihar recently about Nitish Kumar, Sushil Modi continues to stand in support of Nitish. His tweet clearly showed that Sushil Modi is hurt by some of the biggest leaders of Bihar. Sushil Modi also attacked the opposition, saying that the opposition has no hard issue against the Nitish government, neither does it have the numerical strength in the House nor does it have any moral force to criticise because of the failures of the Lalu-Rabri raj. In such a situation, they only want to create political instability by fuelling many kinds of unsavoury speculations about Nitish Kumar's departure from office.
