Team 'Harikathe Alla Girikathe' has been at the task for some time now.  The shoot's mostly wrapped up, the post-production duties are currently in full swing. The film's director Karan Ananth says: "'Harikathe Alla Girikathe' is about three Giris - the first Giri, an aspiring filmmaker, played by Rishab Shetty himself, the second Giri is the villain in their film and the third Giri being "Girija", who plays the aspiring heroine in the film within the film. these guys know very little about filmmaking. But the film's mainly about their journey into learning and appreciating cinema in a much more passionate and holistic way - there's an extremely funny take to the whole angle and that's where the main charm of the film lies".

"We have mostly shot the film in Mysuru, because that's where the story takes place primarily, but we have also covered the entire coastal belt to get to Goa Girikrishna, who has also conceived the film's original story, was compelled to leave the project on health grounds, and the makers promoted Karan Ananth and Anirudh Mahesh right away to take over.

Along with Rishab Shetty, the film's principal cast also includes young actors Rachana Inder (of 'Love Mocktail' fame) and Thapaswini with veteran actor Honnavalli Krishna too playing an interesting part. The cinematography has been handled by Chandrasekaran and Ranganath C.M. while popular music composer Ajaneesh B. Loknath has lent his tunes to the film.
