Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor is one of the renowned faces in Bollywood. The actor usually receives hatred for being Anil Kapoor. In his recent tweet he hailed Rajkummar Rao’s Monica, O My Darling and also express his displeasure for the audience’s choice.
Harsh Varrdhan retweeting a tweet about film Monica Oh My Darling. He wrote, “It’s become more about where your seen who with what you eat and who you date then the body of work sadly.. audiences are satiated by Bollywood blogs and care less about films in my opinion..”
He further added, “Monica is brilliant and all actors are amazing .. vasan is amazing.. hope millions watch,” he further added. Directed by Vasan Bala, Monica O My Darling is a neo-noir crime comedy thriller. It released on Netflix and received a positive critical response.”
Earlier Harsh Varrhan tweeted how he has gone through a lot of articles on his birthday written by the "Hindi press" that have tried to "summarise his journey so far," which completely discarded the "merit of films like Bhavesh Joshi, AK vs AK, Ray and the uniqueness of his journey," and shed light only on the poor box office numbers of his other films like Bhavesh Joshi and Mirzya
He further wrote, "It's almost like they are completely blind to any sort of creativity courage or quality or and only judge an artist by money made." Harsh Varrdhan feels it is "the precedent for the future generations."
Harshvardhan made his debut with Mirzya, and also featured in Bhavesh Joshi Superhero. In 2020, he appeared in a cameo in AK vs AK alongside his father Anil Kapoor. He is also expected to collaborate with Anil Kapoor in an upcoming biopic of Indian shooter Abhinav Bindra. In 2022, he acted and co-produced a film titled Thar which was released on Netflix on 6 May 2022.
