Karnal: Assembly elections in Haryana have been announced. Now less than a month is left in the election. Manohar Lal Khattar, the head of the BJP's first government in Haryana, has again fielded for his second innings. He has filed nomination again from Karnal assembly seat. In five years, the liability of Chief Minister Khattar has ended and the assets have doubled. His bank balance in the last assembly election is Rs 93,85,985. Also, a liability of Rs 6 lakh 20 thousand has been paid including the bank.

Another special thing is that the Chief Minister has written his address  "719 New Prem Nagar Karnal instead of rented house number-216 in New Prem Nagar". However, even today CM does not have a house in Karnal in his name. Manohar Lal, who graduated from Delhi University in the year 1975, has also donated eight canals of 20 arable land in his native village.

Before becoming an MLA in 2014, Manohar Lal used to teach agriculture. In both nominations, he has not named anyone as his nominee. However, this time Brij Gupta, the husband of Mayor Renubala Gupta, has filed nomination as the covering candidate. Please note that CM Manohar Lal is considered close to PM Modi.
