Chandigarh: In Haryana, the Election Commission will notify the Assembly elections in the next few weeks. The BJP government is now under the leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. For ten years (2004 - 2014), the Congress, which has been in power in the state, is currently in a shambles. The party did not win a single seat here in the Lok Sabha elections. Congress' problem has further increased here. Tightening the law against former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda and rebel Congress leader Kuldeep Bishnoi has increased the difficulties of the party.

ED has filed the first charge sheet in the case of allotment of land in Panchkula to Associate Journal Limited, including the name of Hooda and Moti Lal Vora. The Income Tax Department has taken action against Kuldeep Bishnoi under the Prevention of Benami Property Act. The party believes that the attacks on the two leaders will intensify as the assembly elections draw nearer. So, the party has to evolve a strategy accordingly so that it does not suffer much in the elections.

Congress spokesperson Anand Sharma said that since elections are due in Haryana, it was bound to happen. The BJP wants to fight elections with nationalism, polarisation, religion, and accusations so that the people do not seek answers to other important questions. Haryana in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azad met party President Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday and held talks with the two leaders on action and reshuffle of the organization. Another problem with the party is factionalism. That is not coming to an end despite all the efforts. The BJP had formed the government for the first time in the state thanks to the Modi wave.
