Chandigarh: Haryana's Dalit leader Ashok Tanwar, who was a special figure of former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi, is likely to take on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today. It is being told that he will meet AAP national president and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal today and will join AAP in his presence. However, Tanwar had resigned from the Congress last year and joined the Trinamool Congress (TMC).

Ashok Tanwar has now decided to quit the TMC and stop the repression of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). On the other hand, Ashok Tanwar can also prove to be beneficial for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). In fact, since forming the government in Punjab, Kejriwal's party has been engaged in the exercise of spreading a foothold in other states of the country. In such a situation, the AAP was looking for a big face like Ashok Tanwar in the neighbouring state of Haryana.

Ashok Tanwar has held big positions in the Congress like national secretary, youth congress in-charge and Haryana Congress chief. Former MP Ashok Tanwar is considered to be very special to Rahul Gandhi. He had resigned from the party just before the Haryana assembly elections. After this, he took over the TMC. Earlier it was believed that they might announce their new front in Haryana.
