Chandigarh: Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar has presented the state budget as finance minister. CM Khattar presented a budget of 1 lakh 77 thousand 255.99 crores for 2022-23 of Haryana. This is 15.6 per cent more than 1 lakh 53 thousand 384 crores in 2021-21. CM Khattar was the first to wish everyone on International Women's Day. He said that after the Corona epidemic, it is a budget to give momentum to the economy. This budget will decide the direction of development in the next 25 years.

CM Khattar further said that counter-cyclical fiscal measures were taken to speed up the post-Covid economy. Haryana's contribution to the country's economy is 3.4 per cent, by doing it by 4 per cent, it will make a big contribution in achieving PM Narendra Modi's target of a 5 trillion economy. At the same time, CM Khattar announced that houses will be built in Faridabad, Gurugram and Panchkula for working women. Three Women's shelters will be built. New women's colleges will be opened at Kudal, Bhiwani and Chhapar, Ganaur in Sonipat.

It has been announced in the budget that a Mahabharata-era theme park will be set up in Kurukshetra, with the help of 97 crore rupees from the Government of India under the Krishna Circuit Scheme, the multimedia show Brahmasarovar Agrabhagya will be started at the Brahma Sarovar Agrabhag, a multimedia show on the subject related to Shrimad Bhagwat Gita and Mahabharata.
