Chandigarh: The Khattar government of the state will distribute certain types of mosquitoes to the dengue affected areas of Haryana. The specialty of these mosquito nets is that mosquitoes will die on their own as soon as they come in contact. The Khattar government has sent its demand for these mosquito nets to the central government. Haryana is getting about five lakh mosquito nets at a cost of 2.5 crores.

These mosquito nets will be divided into the Noah district of the Mewat region. After this, it will be given free of cost to villagers in other districts with mosquito-borne fever. The chemical applied to these insecticide mosquito nets will be effective for the next three years. Mosquito and other insect moths will pile up as soon as it collides. Many people in the rural areas of Haryana sleep in their enclosures, and verandas with mosquito nets at night. In such a situation, the Health Department has firstly focused on rural areas.

The possibility of mosquito-borne fever spread in rural areas and the number of mosquitoes has been found to be higher than in urban areas. In the matter of distribution of special kinds of mosquito nets, the central government will also assist in these efforts of the state's health department. Mosquito nets Director of Health Department Dr. Usha Gupta states that these mosquito nets called 'Long-Lasting Insecticidal Net' (LLIN) will be given free of cost to the villagers of Hisar, Rohtak, Sirsa, Faridabad, Guru Gram, Hisar, Jhajjar, Palwal, Panchkula and Rohtak districts of Mewat region.
