Haryana out of control: Health Minister says, section 144 to be implemented across the state

Chandigarh: Amid a sharp rise in coronavirus infection cases in Haryana, the state government has called for the imposition of Section 144 across the state. In an official release on Tuesday, state Home and Health Minister Anil Vij said "Section 144 will be imposed across Haryana on the ever-deteriorating situation caused by corona in the state".

State that Section 144 of the CRPC prohibits the simultaneous accumulation of four or more people and was earlier imposed in some districts of the State, including Gurugram, Faridabad, Hisar, Panchkula, and Sonepat. Haryana has registered a sharp increase in infection cases this month while the number of deceased has also increased. In Haryana, 11931 new cases have been registered on Tuesday due to the rapid spread of coronavirus infection, taking the total number of victims in the state to 4,47,754.

3,59,699 of these patients have recovered and returned home. The death toll due to the epidemic has gone up to 3926 in the state as 84 corona patients succumbed to their injuries yesterday. So far, 3926 people have lost their lives from Corona in the State. These include 2583 men, 1342 women, and one transgender.
