Chandigarh: Strict action will now be taken from January 1 if the corona vaccine is not administered in Haryana. State Health Minister Anil Vij gave this important news during the winter session of the Assembly. Vij said that people who do not get both doses of the vaccine will not be given entry only in stations, railway stations, malls and hotels. As a result, Vij also said that compensation is being paid to the dependents who lost their lives due to corona. He has reported that six cases of the omicron variant swung into the margin in Haryana so far. Three persons who returned from abroad in Gurugram have been found infected. They are admitted to a hospital in Delhi.

The same 43 new cases have been reported in Haryana on Tuesday. The cases are 31, 12 more than the cases received on Monday and the highest in the last two months. Meanwhile, one patient died in Sirsa. Gurugram has reported 23 of the highest number of corona cases in the state. A new corona patient has been found in Panchkula 8, Faridabad 6, Karnal 3, Sirsa-Yamunanagar, Jhajjar 1-1. At present, the total number of active cases in the state has gone up to 234, out of which 180 are in home isolation. The one-day transition rate has gone up to 0.15 per cent and the total to 5.42 per cent. The recovery rate is 98.66 and the mortality rate is 1.30 per cent. The total number of deaths due to corona has reached 10,062 so far.

The same Gurugram has become the first district of Haryana and National Capital Region (NCR) to achieve a 100% vaccination target against Corona. Here 128 per cent of the eligible population has been given the first dose and 100 per cent of the eligible persons have been given the second dose of the anti-coronavirus vaccine. At the same time, 99 per cent of health workers in the state have taken the first and 97 per cent have taken both doses. Along with this, 103% of the first dose and 106% of the frontline workers has been given the second dose.
