Washington: America's space agency NASA has released new coloured pictures of the universe taken by its most powerful space telescope James Webb. These are the most high-resolution colour photos of all the pictures of the universe seen in history to date. It has taken several billions of years for this high-resolution picture to reach us. US President Joe Biden has given information in this regard at a White House briefing. Biden said: "Today is a historic day. It's very important for America and the whole of humanity. These pictures show how great America can do, as well as it is going to make the American people, especially our children, believe that there is nothing that is beyond our limits.''
Nasa head Bill Nelson said, "We are looking back 13 billion years. The light you're seeing on one of these tiny particles has been travelling continuously for 13 billion years. US Vice President Kamala Harris said about NASA's achievement, "This is a very exciting moment for all of us. Today a new chapter has begun for the universe. Nasa's James Webb Space Telescope was launched on December 25 last year from the launching base in French Guiana via an Ariane rocket. The telescope has been jointly developed by NASA, the European Space Agency and the Canadian Space Agency. It cost about 75,000 crores of rupees.''
What is the speciality of the James Beve Space Telescope:-
The $10 billion James Beve Space Telescope was launched in December last year. It was said to be more modern than the famous Hubble Space Telescope. It can keep an eye on all the nuances of the sky, but mainly it has two goals. The first is to take pictures of the stars that have already shone in the universe more than 13.5 billion years ago, and the second is to search for planets where there is a possibility of life. From the very first picture of the web telescope released to President Biden, it is clear how capable this telescope is to fulfill its purpose.

NASA official Bill Nelson said, "Light travels at a speed of 186,000 miles per second, and the light you're seeing on one of those tiny spots has been travelling for more than 13 billion years." He further said "Right now we are going even further back because this is just the first picture that has come out. We know that the universe is 13.8 billion years old, and we're going to exactly its beginnings. While the Hubble Telescope used to take a full week to capture such pictures, the Web Telescope takes only 12 and a half hours.''
