HBO has decided to contribute USD 1 million (about Rs 7.5 crore) to the Los Angeles Kovid-19 Relief Fund, instead of spending money on its traditional Emmy Party and FYC (For Your Consideration). A representative of this network confirmed that they are not going to party Amy this year.
As per media reports, Hollywood Reporter quoted KB Blois (President of HBO Programming) as saying, 'I am very proud of all my shows in Emmy contention this year, I hope they regain their identity. We are able to get back to the work we love. '
For information, let us tell you that donations made to the Mayor Fund in Los Angeles will be used to provide the necessary support to the family, medical staff and everyone.
