The Telangana High Court has issued a key order in connection with hero Prabhas farmhouse in Raiduragam and also on the lands of Paigah which were in dispute since 1958. The Telangana High Court on Tuesday refused to hand over the guesthouse of Prabhas back to him, but offered him some relief by asking the state government to reconsider his plea to regularise the roughly 2,000-square yard land at Raidurgam in Hyderabad.
The property of the Rebel star falls in Survey No: 46 and as per a recent ruling of the Supreme Court, the entire 84 acres extent of the land in the above survey number belongs to the government. Following the ruling of the apex court, the concerned authorities had started taking possession of all the properties falling under that survey number and the Baahubali’s guesthouse also came in Survey No: 46.
In December the revenue officials have seized the farmhouse of Prabhas, claimed that he had encroached the government. On this Prabhas knocked the High Court doors. The court found fault in the process officials seized the farmhouse without any notice. Advocates on behalf of Prabhas, argued that he had bought the land lawfully and the owner of the land had applied for regularisation too.
Prabhas had filed a petition challenging the action by the revenue authorities without serving him a notice. He said he purchased the land in 2005 and paid the fee for its regularisation. Following this, the bench had also pulled up the state government for not informing Prabhas earlier that the regularisation application was rejected.
