New Delhi: The coronavirus outbreak in the country is constantly increasing. Cases of shortage of beds for corona infected have also been reported in many hospitals. Meanwhile, former Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy has attacked the state government for a lack of beds in hospitals. HD Kumaraswamy has tweeted that he is shocked to see Corona patients being sent back due to lack of beds through hospitals. The government has failed in its duty to protect the citizens. For the last three months, the CM and his cabinet have just wasted time.
Kumaraswamy has said that when you have a proven model of the success of the Kerala government for managing Covid, the ministers wasted time in issuing contradictory statements and doing nothing. Karnataka cabinet suffers from a lack of coordination. He said that if the government did not work together, then the day is not far when Corona patients will die on the streets. We are already seeing heartbreaking stories of patients who have been refused treatment. Kumaraswamy said, 'I appeal to the government to consider my earlier suggestions and work accordingly. This is not the time to do politics.'
He further said, "How do hospitals deal with patients in this era of Corona? Its hallmark has been seen in Bengaluru. Where 18 hospitals refused to treat a businessman as an excuse, after which the businessman died at the rate of one hospital. 18 hospitals refused to recruit the businessman, saying there was no availability of beds."
