Governor Lalji Tandon was admitted to Medanta Hospital on 11 June. On 13 June, the operation was done on stomach bleeding. He has been on critical care ventilators since then. According to Medanta Hospital, Lalji Tandon is being given ventilator critical care support. However, for the last few days, they are being kept without ventilator for half an hour in between, so that ventilator support can be removed gradually.
Actually, according to Dr. Rakesh Kapoor, Medical Director of Medanta Hospital, the Governor has a problem of comorbidity and neuro muscular. Trouble breathing. In such a situation, he has been shifted to ventilator again.
