Disclosing the case, the criminal reached the court in a dramatic manner on Monday and surrendered. The matter is of the Ishipur Barahat police station area of ​​the district. Here teacher Neeraj Modi was accused of rape by the student. To avoid punishment, the criminal created a false story of his death. Made the father complete the last rites. To mislead the police and the court, he also got photography done while lying on the pyre. After that, those pictures were also produced through the father in the special POCSO court. After this, the father and son went underground. After this, the police also accepted his death as the truth and put the matter in cold storage and the file was closed in the court. 

Actually, teacher Neeraj Modi was booked for rape by the student on October 14, 2018. The case reached the court. Meanwhile, to save the son from punishment, Rajaram Modi alias Rajo Modi made up a false story of his death. He laid his eyes on the pyre with his eyes closed and took pictures. The criminal also got the receipt made for the purchase of wood from the Kahalgaon crematorium. With the help of the same, the son's death certificate was made and filed with the affidavit in the court. With this, the case was closed in the court.

This act of vicious was busted by the mother of the rape victim. On coming to know about the conspiracy, he called the Block Development Officer, An application was given to Pirpainty. In this, he informed about the issue of a fake death certificate and requested an investigation into the matter. On this, the BDO started an investigation into the matter and the truth came out. On 21 May 2022, on the instructions of the BDO, Rajaram Modi, father of criminal Neeraj Modi, was booked under other sections including cheating. Rajaram is in jail for cheating and Neeraj's death certificate has also been cancelled. After receiving the news of the cancellation of the death certificate, Special POCSO Judge Lavkush Kumar summoned the Ishipur Barahat SHO. The report was sought from him on July 23, 2022, whether the rape perpetrator is alive or dead. On this, instead of giving a report, the police station kept silent. As a result, the Special Judge has issued a contempt notice to the Station House Officer for contempt of court order.
