Amidst growing cases of corona epidemic in the country, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan has today launched the 'eBlood Services App' through the Indian Red Cross Society. The number of people infected with the coronavirus in the country has increased to over 4.73 lakh. Out of this, there are 1,86,514 active cases, while 2,71, 697 people have become healthy.

He said that in this situation, it is difficult for people to move from one place to another to fulfil their needs. Therefore, to cater to the needs of people who need blood, we have launched 'eBlood Services App' through the Indian Red Cross Society. The Union Health Minister said that needy people can register on this app and know where they will get blood. They can demand up to 4 units of blood for the needy. The blood banks of the Indian Red Cross Society will wait for them for 12 hours.

On the other hand, for the first time in the country, the number of corona infected has increased to around 17 thousand in a day. On Wednesday, Corona has got the maximum 16,922 cases. 418 patients died in one day. The number of infected has reached 4 lakh 73 thousand 105. According to the latest update of the Health Ministry, there has been one lakh 86 thousand 514 active cases of corona in the country. So far, 14 thousand 894 patients have died due to coronavirus. It is a matter of relief that 2 lakh 71 thousand 696 patients have recovered.
