New Delhi: The Union Health Ministry says that there are 837 cases of corona cases in the country even today, which is extremely low compared to other countries of the world. There are some countries where there are 12 or 13 times corona cases per 10 lakh population as compared to India. According to the ministry, if we look at the death rate per 10 lakh population, it is 20.4 in the country. It also has one of the lowest death rates in the world.

Giving information about the work, officer in the Ministry of Health, Rajesh Bhushan said that at present we in India are doing 140 corona tests per 10 lakh population every day. Rajesh Bhushan said that today there are 30 states and union territories in the country where the positivity rate is lower than the average positivity rate of the country. The aim is to maintain this level of testing so that the positivity rate is brought down below 5 percent.

He said that the number of active cases of corona in the country is 4,02,529, on the other hand, around 7,24,000 people recovered, we should focus on active cases. Director of National Center for Disease Control, Dr Sujit Kumar Singh said that 8 out of 11 districts have more than 20 percent sero-circulation. There is sero-circulation of about 27 percent in Central, North-East, North and Shahdara districts.
