Kochi: As a heart surgeon, Dr. Jayakumar takes care of the hearts of his patients, the more he is in the service of the cows in his shed. Dr. Jayakumar says that the fatigue he gets after daily surgery or other professional duty is removed as soon as he comes between cows.  When Dr. Jayakumar reaches his dairy farm among cows, he forgets to be a surgeon of his own and becomes a farmer.

Dr. Jayakumar's name is counted among the famous cardiologists of Kerala. He is the Superintendent of Kottayam Medical College. Kottayam Medical College became famous all over the world when the doctor underwent 7 successful heart transplant surgeries. As far as Dr. Jayakumar's family is concerned, he has a wife and daughter in his family. Dr. Jayakumar's wife Dr. Laxmi is a professor in the plastic surgery department of Kottayam's government medical college. Dr. Jayakumar's daughter Chinmai also likes to spend time among cows in form. Dr. Jayakumar's face is lit up by the mention of cows. The milk of their farm cows is sold to the Thuthutti Cooperative Society. Caretakers have been deployed to look after cows on the farm. At the same time, two dogs are also stationed there all the time to protect the shed.

Regarding the love of cows, Dr. Jayakumar says that he inherited it from his ancestral home in Kidangur. Sharing childhood memories, Dr. Jayakumar says that he never forgot the taste of the cow's milk his mother used to give him to drink. That is what inspired Dr. Jayakumar. The first cow they bought was named Bhavani. There are a lot more cows in the shed today with Bhavani.
