Venice: The most beautiful city of Italy, Venice, is currently facing severe flooding. The city is flooded all around. Power supply is off. After 53 years in Venice, water has caused so much devastation. Two people have died in flood-related disasters. The city has been raining continuously for the past one week. The situation has become more frightening due to the high tide between Tuesday and Wednesday.

The city of Venice, Italy, is made up of 118 islands. It lies between a lake on the northwest side of the Adriatic Sea. This lake is about 51 km long and 14 km wide. Spread over 415 sq km, 80% of this city is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and millions of tourists come to visit here. Many museums have been closed due to the floods in Venice. Two major reasons are being cited for filling so much water in Venice. First, the barriers that were to be prepared to deal with climate change and second floods, have not yet been worked on. This is why the situation here is bad today.

Local people say that this project has been delayed so much, due to which the expenditure on it is also increasing. Complaints of corruption are also coming behind not building barriers. One of the concerns of the people here is that the flood will also damage the ecosystem.
