On Tuesday, an important meeting of the cabinet was held under the chairmanship of CM Hemant Soren. Eight proposals have been approved in the meeting. The cabinet decided to put the report of the State Backward Classes Commission for the years 18-19 on the assembly table. The uniform allowance of the commander of CM has been increased from 2500 to 7000 rupees. A decision has been taken to waive excise duty of retail shopkeeper in Lockdown. The cabinet has decided to reserve 7 iron ore lease areas of P. Singhbhum for state government undertaking.

In the cabinet, it was decided to accommodate Koderma Medical College employee Gautam Prasad in the health department. Interstate delegation was approved to the wife of Jharkhand cadre IAS Dr Bashard Qayum, who served in Jammu and Kashmir. Pramod the then managing director of Wazefed. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that electricity will be available to Garhwa and Palamu region and the people there will no longer have to depend on Bihar and UP. He told that in the lockdown the government is trying to provide food to the people, therefore special care is being given along with the health facility.
