Dehradun: The sacred portals of Hemkund Sahib, one of the most revered Sikh shrines in the Garhwal Himalayas, will reopen for devotees on Saturday morning.

According to report,  after the reading of Sukhmani in Govindghat, Hemkund Sahib Trust Trust and Garhwal Commissioner left the Jathhe for Ghancharia. In Govindghat, the pilgrims continued to be pleasantly surprised. To get information about the travel arrangements, the Garhwal Commissioner has left for Hemkund with the team of District Administration.

The Commissioner said that this year snowfall has increased in Hemkund Sahib. The army has opened the travel route, whichever is less, it will be completed within a week. Hemkund Sahib's manager said that there is more snow in the about three km journey route. All arrangements have been made by the gurus. Hemkund Sahib journey started with the band tune of Army jawans. The band of devotees sailed for the hammer with the tune of the band.
