Actress Sridevi, who has been intimidated by her flirtation on the screen, has died at the age of 54 after falling ill with a heart attack in Dubai. In Dubai, she went to take part in a wedding ceremony. She had prepared herself for her daughter's first film as if it was her first film, but she could see the daughter Jahnavi on screen as destiny dropped the curtains of her life.   

Sridevi has left an indelible impression on the audience with her beauty, beautiful expressions and strong acting. She was a famous performer of Indian films who worked in Hindi films besides Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and others. Due to her excellent acting, she is counted among the best performers. 

  1. Sridevi, who came to screen from Tamil films at the age of four, was born on August 13, 1963, in Minamapatti, a small village in Tamil Nadu. Her father's name was Ayyappan and mother's name was Rajeshwari. Her father was a lawyer. She has one sister and two brothers. 
  2. By 1976, Sridevi worked as a child artist in many southern Indian films. As an actress, in 1976, she worked in the Tamil film 'Mundru Mudichi'.
  3. Sridevi was also honored with the Kerala State Film Award for the Malayalam film 'Movie Pubabatta' (1971). During this time he worked in several Tamil-Telugu and Malayalam films, for which he was also honored with several awards. 
  4. Sridevi started his career in Hindi in the year 1979 with the movie 'Solvan Sawan'. But he got the Bollywood film 'Himmatwala'. After this film, she became one of the superstar actresses of Hindi cinema.
  5. During her career, she did many strong roles. He played a double role in the remake of Hema Malini, starring 'Sita and Geeta' in "Chalbaz". The film was directed by Pankaj Parashar, she ruled the heart of everyone with the role of Anju and Manju. 
  6. In the film 'Sadma' in 1983, Sridevi appeared with South Cinema actor Kamal Haasan. The critics were also surprised to see her acting in this film. 
  7. Sridevi fell in love with Mithun Chakraborty in the movies. The love of both of them began to go ahead, though Mithun was already married.
  8. Those days, film careers of both of them were at peak and discussions of their love became common. After all, this had brought clash in the married life of Mithun, after which Mithun gave clearance to everyone about his relationship with Sridevi. 
  9. After this, Sridevi was surprised by the fact. Then in 1996, she married filmmaker Boney Kapoor, who is about eight years elder. They have two daughters - Jahnavi and Khushi Kapoor. At present, her eldest daughter is ready to make Bollywood Debut.
  10. After marrying director Boney Kapoor in 1996, Sridevi made her distance from the film world. But during this time she appeared in several TV shows. In the year 2012, Sridevi made a comeback on screen with Gauri Shinde's 'English Winglish'. 
  11. Even after being away from Hindi cinema for many years, she surprised the critics and the audience with a fine performance in the movie 'English Winglish'. She was awarded the Padma Shri by the Indian Government in the year 2013. Apart from this, she has also won Filmfare Best Actress Award for 'Chalbaz' (1992) and 'Lamhe' (1990)
  12. Sridevi worked in about 200 films in his long career. These include 63 Hindi, 62 Telugu, 58 Tamil and 21 Malayalam films.
