Virat Kohli is a born winner not only in the field of sports but in all, be it his on-field scoring ability with the bat or off-field charisma. The Indian cricket team skipper has added another accomplishment to his name by posting the most retweeted post of the year 2017 and it was none other than the one he shared to announce his wedding with Anushka Sharma. Though the Bollywood actress also posted the same message, the number of retweets she got was lesser.

While the entire world was under the impression that the 'wedding of the year' will take place on December 12, the news of the couple tying the nuptial knot a day early on December 11 shook the world.

 Kohli and Anushka both confirmed it by posting the same message on their Twitter accounts.

While everything has been a private affair so far, Virat and Anushka will hold a grand reception in New Delhi for their relatives and friends on December 21 while those from Bollywood and cricket will be grouped together for the second reception in Mumbai on December 26.

The couple will then fly to South Africa and bring the New Year together before Kohli gets busy with the South Africa Test series and Anushka returns to India to complete the shoot of an unnamed movie.
