Users who want to avoid being distracted by notifications while studying, driving, attending online meetings, and other activities will benefit from Instagram's "Quiet" mode.

Once you enable this feature in the "Notifications" section, all app-related notifications will be disabled, and anyone who sends you a text message will receive an auto-reply. Also, to let people know, your profile's activity status will change to "In silent mode."

Instagram will stop sending you any notifications after you activate "Quiet" mode. A brief summary of missed notifications will also be shown when the feature is disabled so you can see what happened while you were away.
