You may often notice that your parents are more stressed out than you are – even when the amount of troubles in both of yours lives are nearly the same.
They  have work and responsibilities  but then you too have a career, personal life, and several other things to manage. Well, here are few reasons as to why older people are most stressed, and find it even more difficult to manage things .
Stress is one of the major reasons of most lifestyle diseases. Be it heart diseases, diabetes, or mental health issues, stress plays a crucial role in creating these health issues and also increasing them. The body and mind have their own  ways of managing stress and several habits and lifestyle changes  may aid you in managing  stress better.
Our body changes in several ways after the age of 30 or 35. It may not have the same strength and ability to deal with stress the way it would have had when we were young. The heart, lungs, and almost the whole body is relatively weaker which can make it even more  difficult to handle stress.

The mind also responds in a   similar manner to the rest of the body in  old age. It may also be unable to cope with emotional stress and problems like it used to when we were young. Probablity  of slipping into depression, or having panic attacks becomes very common in old age
