Under the Vida sub-brand, Hero MotoCorp has finally introduced its new electric scooter. There will be two variations available, the V1 Pro and V1 Plus, under the name of the V1. Priced at $1.59 (ex-showroom), the Vida V1 Pro is more expensive than the Vida V1 Plus ($1.45 lakh) (ex-showroom). The V1 will first be introduced in New Delhi, Jaipur, and Bengaluru. Beginning in the second week of December, deliveries will begin. The competition for Vida V1 includes TVS iQube, Ather 450X Gen3, Bajaj Chetak, and Ola S1 Pro.

How far can the Vida V1 Pro and Vida V1 Plus be ridden?

The V1 Pro has a range claim of 165 km, whereas the V1 Plus makes a range claim of 143 km. The scooters have a portable charger that can be used to charge them, and Vida is also building up public fast chargers. The battery pack can also be removed and charged at home because it is portable.

How do the Vida V1 Pro and V1 Plus do in terms of performance?

The Vida V1 Pro can reach 40 kilometers per hour in 3.2 seconds, while the V1 Plus needs 3.4 seconds. The top speed of both scooters is 80 kmph.

What characteristics does the Vida V1 electric scooter offer?

The Vida V1 has a lot of features, including cruise control, riding modes, keyless entry, SOS warning, follow-me-home headlamps, find-me lights, all-around LED lighting, and more. The big under-seat storage in the Vida V1 also gives the impression that it is highly functional.

A 7-inch TFT screen with smart linked functions is also available for the rider. The scooters are capable of receiving over-the-air (OTA) updates, so there is a chance that they will improve and obtain more functions in the future. Additionally, Vida added a boost mode for speedy overtakes, a two-way throttle, and a reverse assist to the scooter.

The scooter's top speed is capped at 10 kmph by a limp home safety feature, and it should be able to travel up to 8 km on an almost dead battery.
