Jaipur: A shocking case of drug trafficking has come to light in Rajsthan. A woman has been arrested on charges of smuggling in the capital Jaipur. Heroin worth Rs 6 crore was recovered from the arrested woman. What is surprising is that the woman had brought these capsules of drugs hidden in her private parts.
The value of the 862 grams of seized heroin in the international market is said to be Rs 6 crore. It took the doctors 12 days to remove these capsules of heroin. The woman is a resident of Uganda. The police are currently interrogating her. According to officials, the woman had hidden some capsules of drugs in private parts, while some of the capsules she had swallowed. The woman arrived at the Jaipur airport on February 19 from Sharjah in the UAE.
During the scanning here, the Directorate of Intelligence (DRI) had detected the capsules present in the woman's body. After getting the permission of the magistrate, the woman was admitted to SMS Hospital in Jaipur. Here, the doctors removed the capsules from the woman's body from February 19 to March 2. After being discharged from the hospital, the woman was produced before the court. Here, the court ordered that to be sent to 14-day judicial custody.
