Hero Electric Motors and EV Motors India have announced partnerships to promote electric vehicles in India. Under this partnership, EV Motors India will provide battery and charging infrastructure for Hero's electric vehicles. Under this planning, about 10,000 e-bike pilot projects will be launched in several cities in the next 1 year, and after this plan will be executed in the whole country.

The thing to note is that the battery of EVM motors will be installed in Hero Electric's bike and scooter. Those will be supercharged in less than 30 minutes through the company's rapid charging station network called 'Plugnego'. These stations are being established in many Indian cities. Talking about the driving range that comes with these batteries, it will give a range of 130 to 140 kilometres in one charge.

The rapid charging station will be set up in different parts of India, including the Hero Electric dealership, and the public charging facility will be made safe. Speaking on the subject, Hero Electric CEO Sohinder Gill said that "Charging in 30 minutes can be a game-changer for electric vehicles, as it will solve three critical issues, including the range problem, battery cost and price". Many changes can happen, and with this change, the work will become more simple.
