Windows 10 is the most popular operating system among users of computers, tablets, laptops, all-in-one computers and other electronic devices, and Microsoft released its final stable version in the summer of 2015. Almost four years have passed since then, but during this period the tenth Windows did not get rid of a huge pile of various problems that negatively affect the experience of using any electronic devices working on its base. As it turned out, the developers added to this OS a special hidden setting, the activation of which allows you to increase the speed of the computer two times.

Many owners of electronic devices running Windows 10 probably noticed long ago that the first time after installing the tenth "Windows", especially on older computers or tablets, it works quite quickly, but after a few months, and even more years, the entire operating system begins to work much more slowly. All of this has quite a real reason for itself, but it consists in the fact that this OS does not work quite correctly over time, as a result of which each user of any device based on it should be ready to perform the necessary actions at any time.

As if, specifically, Microsoft has hidden from the eyes of ordinary users one extremely simple, but very important setting, the use of which allows you to increase the speed of a computer, tablet, laptop or other device running on Windows 10. This is an option called System File Checker, which designed to check the operating system for damage. Even if the tenth "Windows" works fully without any difficulties, this does not mean that everything is fine with it. The problems are guaranteed, especially on those operating systems that were installed many years ago.

As part of the check, Windows 10 will check all files and overwrite them if necessary. This will not affect the user data, that is, they will not suffer from this. This operation, depending on the drive speed and processor power, can take up to five hours, but it usually completes successfully within 30 minutes. To use this feature, you need to call the Command Line application by typing its name in the search bar in the Start menu, and then in this program, enter the sfc / scannow command. Following this, a disk scan will begin. Feel the increase in the speed of work will be possible after a reboot.
