The recently launched compact SUV Kia Seltos has proved that good cars can be sold in times of economic slowdown. Seltos overtook other SUVs in the Indian market Hyundai Creta and Tata Harrier by selling over 12,800 units in October 2019. In terms of power and specifications, the Kia Seltos has a SmartStream 1.4 liter turbo petrol engine, the second 1.5 liter petrol engine and the third 1.5 diesel VGT engine. The Celtos have more engine options than the Tata Harrier. Talking about the gearbox, the Celtos has a 6-speed manual gearbox with a 6-speed torque converter and a 7-speed DCT option. Talking about the price, the ex-showroom price of Kia Seltos ranges from Rs 9.69 to Rs 15.99.

In terms of power and specifications, the Tata Harrier has a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder multijet diesel engine that generates power of 140 Ps at 3750 Rpm and 350 Nm of torque at 1750-2500 Rpm. Talking about the price, the ex showroom price of Tata Harrier ranges from Rs 12,99,755 to Rs 16,75,755. The same Hyundai Creta has a 1591cc 4-cylinder petrol that generates power of 123 Ps at 6400 Rpm and 15.4 kgm of torque at 4850 Rpm. The other is a 1396 cc 4-cylinder diesel engine that generates power of 90 Ps at 4000 Rpm and 22.4 kgm of torque at 1500-2750 Rpm. The third is a 1582cc 4-cylinder engine that generates power of 128 Ps at 4 thousand Rpm and torque of 26.5 kgm at 1500-3000 Rpm. Speaking of the price, the ex-showroom price of Hyundai Creta is Rs 999,990 to Rs 1,567,064.
