Accepting the petition challenging the election of Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Dulu Mahato, the Jharkhand High Court has fixed April 22 for its hearing. A bench of Justice AK Chaudhary has issued notice to MLA Dulu Mahato while accepting the petition for hearing.

For your information, let us tell you that in the recent election, Congress candidate from Baghmara, Jaleshwar Mahato has challenged the election of Dulu by applying in the court. He has demanded the cancellation of Dulu's election alleging irregularities in the counting of votes. Meanwhile, in another case Dulu Mahato's difficulties may increase as the victim has filed an application in the court, seeking to transfer the case related to rape to the Ranchi court. The petition has been filed by advocate Rajiv Kumar.

Regarding the matter, he told that a woman hailing from Dhanbad has lodged an FIR accusing MLA Dulu Mahato of rape. The petition has sought to transfer the same case to the Ranchi court. It has been said that MLA Dulu Mahato dominates the area. In such a situation, he can influence the witnesses related to this case. The woman is also being pressured to withdraw the case and is being threatened. There are 28 cases pending against Dulu Mahato, meanwhile, Dhulu has got a big relief from the Jharkhand High Court in another case of alleged assault in Dhanbad. A bench of Justice Anand Sen has quashed the warrant issued against him.
