The cases of coronavirus infection are increasing faster than expected in the country. In the last 24 hours in India, 14516 new coronavirus infection cases and 375 deaths have been reported. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has now increased the total number of positive cases to 395048, including 168269 active cases, 213831 cured people and 12948 deaths. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, a total of 66,16,496 samples were tested till 19 June. In the last 24 hours, 1,89,869 samples were tested. Maharashtra is at the top of the most affected states in the country.

One of the reasons for the continuous increase of cases of coronavirus infection in India is that now the investigation has increased. In Delhi, where earlier 4-5 thousand samples were tested daily, their number has now been increased to around 9 thousand daily. The investigation of the corona has been expedited in almost all the states of the country so that the infected person can be identified and treated as soon as possible. A total of 66,16,496 samples have been tested so far.

In the last 24 hours, 3827 new cases were reported and 142 people died in Mumbai. According to the health department, the total number of infected patients in the state has reached 1,24,331. Most corona infected patients are coming from Mumbai. On Friday, 1269 new cases of corona infection were reported in Mumbai and 14 people died. The total number of infected patients in the state has now reached 64,068. According to Pranay Ashok, PRO of Mumbai Police, a total of 2,349 policemen have been found corona infected so far in the city.
