SHIMLA: The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, has officially launched the online portal of the Himachal Pradesh Nurses Registration Council (HPNRC), an official statement reads.

The recently unveiled website aims to provide nurses with convenient access to a wide range of services. These services include primary registration, registration renewal, obtaining No Objection Certificates (NOC), updating additional qualifications, foreign verification, and more. All of these services can now be accessed from the comfort of their own homes. In addition, the portal will facilitate online migration and transfer of registration, as stated in the announcement.

During the event, the Chief Minister emphasized the State government's dedication to creating employment opportunities for the youth and facilitating overseas employment. To support this initiative, the website will eventually be integrated with the Employment Department's website. This integration will enable recruitment agencies to access relevant data, thereby promoting employment generation and streamlining tracking processes, he explained.

Other attendees at the event included Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil, the Health and Family Welfare Minister, Dr. Sita Thakur, Principal of Indira Gandhi Medical College, and Seema Brakta, the Registrar of the HPNRC, among others.
