Shimla: Corona epidemic has greatly affected every region of the country. Corona cases are increasing steadily. Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh has received 15 COVID-19 positive cases on Saturday. There have been 6 cases in Sirmour, 5 in Bilaspur, and 4 in Chamba. City magistrate Sirmaur Dr. RK Paruthi said in his statement that the report of six samples came positive. Out of these 6, 5 youth/men whose age is between 7 years to 73 years, and 1 young girl whose age is 25 years.
One case ward number 3 is of Paonta Sahib and 5 cases are of Purviya Mohalla Nahan. The number of active cases in the city has increased to 179. There have been 4 Corona positive cases in Chamba city. An army soldier returned from Srinagar has been found corona infected. Three company employees have been found infected in Holi. The travel history of the employees is from Orissa, Bihar, and West Bengal. In Bilaspur, 5 laborers engaged in construction work of AIIMS Kothipura, COVID-19 positive cases have come.
Meanwhile, according to the Union Health Ministry, the death rate of corona in the country is now 2.15%, which is the lowest since the lockdown started. Corona's death rate was around 3.33% in the middle of June, which has now steadily reduced to 2.15%. 11 lakh infected coronas in the country have been cured after treatment. In the last 24 hours, 36,569 infections have been cured. So far, the total number of corona patients in the country is 10,94,374. Corona's recovery rate in the country is 64.53%.
