Shimla: A major accident has been reported in Himachal Pradesh. The store of the camping site at Kasol in Manikaran valley of Kullu district of the state has been gutted in the fire. The incident took place on Friday night. The fire in the camping site's store caused a stampede in the entire area. The site is being run by Uday Singh, Shyam Lal and Deepak Sharma.
It is being told that the fire in the store has burnt the sleeping bags, mattresses, tents and tracking items kept in the store. Goods worth about eight lakh rupees have been burnt to ashes due to arson. At the same time, it is being told that the fire was caused by a short circuit. Locals found the fire under control and the damage around has been saved. Superintendent of Police Kullu Gurdev Sharma said that the police are investigating the case.
At present, no casualty has been reported in the incident, but lakhs of goods have been burnt due to the fire in the shop.
