Kullu: A nine-year-old girl was raped near a polling booth in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. The crime occurred under the limits of the Anni police station area in Kullu district. Meanwhile, Deputy SP Tejindra Verma said they are further probing the matter.
The accused has been identified as Devendra Singh, a resident of Bharesh village. According to the report, the case occurred when girl was playing at the ground of a school, where the polling booth was set for voting, when the accused took her to a secluded place and raped her.

As per the report of News18, Devendra Singh lured the victim by giving her Rs 10 to buy some snacks. When the girl went to the shop he was pushed to a dilapidated building. At the time of incident, The girl's mother was in the fields when the victim went of the home to play.

The police have sent the girl for medical examination and filed a case under section 376 and 511 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
In other similar case, two other minor girls were raped in Dholpur and Churu district of Rajasthan . A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her relative in Churu and an eight-year-old girl was raped Dholpur on Thursday.
