Himachal has received snowfall in the high peaks including the holdings of the capital Shimla, Kufri, Rohtang, Chamba on Saturday amid forecast of clear weather in Himachal. Apart from this, the weather suddenly turned bad in the afternoon after blooming in the morning in the capital Shimla. At the same time, Meteorological Center Shimla is expected to keep the weather clear till February 5 in the state. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the central and higher mountainous regions in the state on February 6 and 7. With this, after two days of clear weather, the weather has changed again. Snowfall and cold wave in the high hills along Rohtang on Saturday led to a sharp drop in temperature. The same people's woes have increased. With the same snowfall, 162 roads along Manali-Leh, Ani-Jalori-Auth NH are still stalled. The Kullu administration has asked tourists and people to be vigilant in view of the danger of falling of the iceberg.

In the same district Chamba's holdings received six inches of fresh snowfall on Saturday, besides the closure of the Pangi road, which has cut the connectivity of many areas. The tribal district of Kinnaur received snowfall late on Friday. The fresh snowfall has again disrupted life in the district. 14 rural villages of Kalpa and Pooh section of Bhavnagar subdivision of the same district have been completely blocked for traffic. Apart from this, the weather remained clear in the plains of the state. On Saturday, most of the temperature was 18.5 in Una, 17.1 in Kangra, 17.0 in Bilaspur, 16.8 in Hamirpur, 16.5 in Sundernagar, 16.6 in Bhuntar, 15.0 in Solan, 14.4 in Nahan, 15.4 in Chamba, 9.4 in Dharamshala, 7.6 in Shimla, Dalhousie. 2.3, minus 0.2 in Kalpa and minus 3.8 degrees in Kelang.

In Manali, a large number of tourists reached Solanganala and other snow points to have fun amid the snow. At the same time, fresh snowfall has again disrupted vehicular movement to Upper Shimla. The snowfall in Kufri-Fagu disrupted vehicular traffic on Saturday afternoon, besides the fresh snowfall has increased the cold wave in Kinnaur district. Thousands of people in the district are forced to chill in the shivering cold. The 36 rural roads of the same district have once again been closed due to snowfall. There was no movement of other vehicles including buses from Rekong Peo on Saturday morning. The corporation's buses were run from Powari itself.
