Chennai: Tamil Nadu Hindu Mahasabha state secretary Nagaraj was killed on Sunday near his house in Anand Nagar, Hosur. According to media reports, he was bitten by an unknown gang near his house at 8 am. It is being told that unknown miscreants first asked him to come out of the house and then brutally killed him when he came out.
Some other reports have told that Nagaraj had gone for a morning walk. During this time, the miscreants stopped his car and then started to scramble with him. When the victim Nagaraj attempted to escape, the accused chased and killed him in a public place. After this, the accused managed to escape from there. The accused had stabbed Nagaraj on his head and stomach, killing him on the spot.
On getting the information of the incident, Krishnagiri police reached the spot and started investigating the case. Nagaraj's body has been rushed to Krishnagiri Government Hospital for postmortem. Nagaraj had reportedly demanded protection from the police a few months before the murder, but the police then refused to provide him security. Nagaraj is survived by his wife, son and three daughters.
