Patna: Schools in Seemanchal in Bihar are now going to have a holiday on Friday instead of Sunday. Earlier, a similar incident was reported in Jharkhand. After receiving the news of the case, the Government ordered an inquiry. At the same time, Neeraj Singh Babloo, a minister in the Nitish government and BJP leader, reacted to the matter and said that Hindus do not ask for leave on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Bihar Environment Minister Neeraj Kumar Singh Babloo said on the issue- "Look, we understand that this is not correct. If there is a holiday on Sunday in the whole country, then it should be on Sunday. Now in the name of religion... sometimes in the name of Sanatan Dharma, give us a holiday on Tuesday, on Thursday we do worship, give us a holiday... This is not correct.''

The BJP leader said that there is such a problem in the Seemanchal area. He also blamed pf and its ghazwa-e-hind for this. He also advocated for bringing in a population control law.
