Patna: Questions are being raised on the Nitish government in Bihar regarding the prohibition of liquor. Meanwhile, his own party leader Upendra Kushwaha has also given such a statement on prohibition which CM Nitish Kumar will not like. JDU Parliamentary Board National President Upendra Kushwaha termed the prohibition of liquor in Bihar a failure. He said that the prohibition of the liquor does not succeed only because of the government's speech.

In fact, on Wednesday, Upendra Kushwaha recently reached a village located in Mahua in the Vaishali district. There Kushwaha discussed with the media. Due to this, a journalist asked him a question about the liquor ban in Bihar. To this, Kushwaha said that the prohibition of liquor in Bihar is not successful. Liquor prohibition could not be successful just by speaking of the government.

Further, Upendra Kushwaha said that the public will have to cooperate to make prohibition a success. The prohibition of liquor will not be successful unless the public wants it. You already know the current situation. However, Kushwaha also said that society has benefited a lot from the prohibition of liquor. The more successful it is, the more people will benefit. Now questions are being raised from within regarding the prohibition of liquor in the Grand Alliance government. In the past, JDU's partner Hindustan Awam Morcha (HUM) chief Jitan Ram Manjhi also made a big statement. He said that due to the prohibition of liquor, poor people are lodged in jails and big smugglers are roaming freely. The former Chief Minister also suggested to the Nitish government that they should not catch those who drink two hundred and fifty grams i.e. one quarter.
