The entire nation celebrates the birthday of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the great teacher of India and the second President of the country. How did Teachers 'Day begin?

After this, the question arises, when was Teachers' Day celebrated for the first time? For the first time in the year 1962, Teachers' Day was celebrated on the occasion of 5 September i.e. the birthday of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Since then, this trend continues today.

Teacher's day is organized especially in schools and colleges. On this day, children give gifts to their teachers and in return, they get the blessings of their teachers. Different types of events are organized at different levels. In the modern era, it is also celebrated by cutting cakes in many educational institutions. At the national level, teachers are honoured on this day.
