New Delhi [India], Feb 4: After 47 long days with full of action and drama spread over 13 venues in Australia, Adelaide Strikers and Hobart Hurricanes will lock horns in the final of the Big Bash League at the picturesque Adelaide Oval ground, on February 4 (Sunday). Fan are really excited about the final game. The Travis Head-led Strikers side and the Hurricanes franchise captained by George Bailey have never won the BBL. So this is a golden chance for both sides to create history by lifting the trophy.

Top runs scorer Alex Carey (423), Head (330), Jake Weatherald (268) and Colin Ingram are the mainstays of the batting line-up. Hurricanes' captain, Head, showed his ability to lead from the front with a vital unbeaten 85 in their semifinal game. Rashid Khan (18 scalps) has been the trump card on the bowling front. Unfortunately for the franchise, the Afghanistan legspinner won't take part in the final as he will be on national duty to partake in a One-Day International series versus Zimbabwe. In his absence, Laughlin, Peter Siddle and Michael Neser will have to shore up the responsibilities.
